So, I appreciate Ben Folds more than most artist out there and respect him even more than that. I love his quirky qualities to his music. If you can get past the hook and who wrote this actual song, the talent these musicians present is actually quite impressive.

Earth Angel // Death Cab For Cutie
So, I may have been raised on Black Flag and old punk and bands…but I have a definitely soft spot in my heart for Motown & Doo Wop. (See also: I melt at the smooth sounds of motown into a little puddle of goopy happiness that could not be happier with her life.)
I also have a soft spot for Ben Gibbard and any of his various musical endeavors.
Combine the two? Sarah is as happy as a clam. This, my friends, is why I’ve chosen Death Cab’s cover of “Earth Angel” by- The Penguins (1954) for my Cover Tuesday song!
100 It’s Cover Tuesday! This was entirely too hard to pick. So I went to my brother for his ever so popular opinion. And we came up with this one. Ace Enders and a Million Different People - Bittersweet Symphony. And if you haven’t heard it yet, expect the ten or twelve different cameos from all your favorites, including Mark Hoppus, Kenny Vasoli, Craig Owens and Alex Gaskarth, plus about a million more.
