Thanks so much for participating in the contest. I really didn’t expect so many people to join in, but I’m glad you all did. I had a blast going through everyone’s emails and learning about you all in some small way. It’s incredible to see the ways music brings people together.
With that said, I had an incredibly hard time choosing a winner. I wanted to make sure whoever won the ticket would actually appreciate it. I had plenty of people tell me how they only wanted to win because it’d be cool to win a contest, or that they were going to go anyway, regardless of if they won or not. I appreciate your honesty, but that’s not exactly what I had in mind when announcing the contest.
However, there were so many people who genuinely wanted this and that made it so tough to choose. But I’m really excited to announce the winner:

NEW CONTEST!
In honor of us surpassing 900 followers this past week, and in order to kick off the new year right, we’ve decided to hold a every special and very LARGE contest! Over the next three weeks we are going to be giving out ONE PASS FOR EACH DAY OF BAMBOOZLE!
This week we are giving away the Saturday pass. The way this works is we will contact the winner and the ticket will be shipped directly to you from Ticketmaster, we are just paying for it!
RULES:
1. To enter: reblog this post. No, liking it alone won’t enter you. You must reblog it from the main All My Friends Are In Bands post. If it’s reblogged off of another blog, that post will not be counted. Sorry, but we do not want the rules to get lost in reblogs and have people complain about “not knowing the rules”.
2. ONE REBLOG PER PERSON. Oh my god, I can’t stress that enough and people still don’t listen! Multiple reblogs by the same person will get them disqualified instantly. If you have questions, send them here and don’t ask in a reblog!
3. If you can not attend, do not enter. If you’re 13 and living on the west coast with no plane ticket there/rides, I am sorry but this is for people who can attend only! If you win on the west coast, I can’t really control if you get there or not but I really want this to go to someone who can maybe only afford one day or can’t afford gas and tickets but wants to go! So please, try to enter only if you can go!
4. THIS CONTEST ENDS JANUARY 4TH, 2010 AT 11:35 PM PST! Sorry, nothing will change this factor and after that the Saturday pass is gone. Winner will be announced mid-day January 5th. Look for the Sunday pass following soon after!
Contest #4: Reblog this post to win an autographed T. Mills CD jacket!
When I pre-ordered his album, Ready Fire Aim, I got two autographed CD jackets. Since I know there’s plenty of T. Mills fans (and haters) on Tumblr, I figured I’d give one away. I have no need for two, so why not give it to someone who will genuinely appreciate it?
If you want to participate, just follow these rules:
- You can reblog as many times as you want, but it will NOT give you more of an advantage. Your name will only be entered once and we will be choosing a random participant.
- If you’re the chosen winner, we will be checking to see if you follow us. We don’t care if you unfollow us after the contest is over, though.

We finally hit the 600 mark so, as promised, here’s the first of two contests being presented to you. All you have to do is reblog this post for your chance to win a picture autographed by the band. The picture is the cover of the 2006 Vans Warped Tour magazine. If you need proof that such a thing exists, look here.
The rules:
- Only reblog the picture ONCE. We’re doing this fairly, so just because you reblog it hundreds of times it won’t increase your chance of winning. Since that happened with our last contest, duplicate reblogs will disqualify you.
